Saturday was a great day. A friend of mine from high school, whom I have not seen in many years stopped in on her way from Pennsylvania to California. Thursday was another busy day of running the children to various jobs and activities. J and K enjoyed a youth group outing in the evening. They went ice blocking. Friday I went to PT. Had a relaxing afternoon at home. Spent time with the girls visiting the horses. K had a middle school girls bible study in the evening so the rest of us did a little shopping. This morning we got up and I put together a dessert to take to my sister-in-law's house for Easter dinner. Kurt put a ham in the oven and off to church we went. I might add that before we went to church the girls wanted me to curl their hair. It takes me about 20 minutes each to curl it and it only lasts a few hours for A and less than that for K. This morning I took A to gymnastics. She is doing so well and really enjoying it, so we signed her up for a second class each week. Then this afternoon we decided to color eggs.  I had to get everything ready for our egg coloring.  I made this one. Blue is my favorite color.  Then I forced everyone to pose for a group picture. Today C went with me to PT so that we could look for more job applications afterward. We drove around for awhile and did get some, so hopefully he will get them filled out quickly and we can get them turned in. I can't believe we have been here a month already. Today I went to physical therapy again for my knees. Today was a great day. Kurt made a pot of chili for the Chili Cook-Off and Cake Auction at the church. There were many good chili's to choose from. It was hard to pick a winner.  J is very happy with his new bow. He has been outside off and on all day working with it. He is doing pretty good as you can see from the above picture. J is a saver. He likes to earn money and save it. He really doesn't like to spend it at all. Now he will have a hobby that he can spend his money on. And based on the below photo, it will not be long until he needs to buy some more arrows. : )

Sorry for posting late, was not feeling well last night. Took C back to the mall today to turn in his applications. I pray that he can find a job soon. It will be good for him for so many reasons. Today A had an appointment at the doctor, then we went to the commissary. The commissary here is quite small compared to the one I am used to going to, but at least it was not crowded. We got home and got the groceries unloaded just in time for a hail storm. Wow. Apparently it is pretty common to have hail here. It was something. . . for about 3-5 minutes of hail bouncing as it hit the ground.

I did absolutely nothing today. Well, I did make sure the children did their schoolwork. I did do two loads of laundry. I did make dinner. But other than that, I did absolutely nothing today. : ) The snow is melting again so it is kind of muddy outside. Not very nice to go out and walk in. The wild turkeys were back again today. They really are ugly odd looking birds. Not much to report today.

As you can see from the photos below, we got more snow today. It was just enough to make everything look pretty. Today was 30 degrees, so it wasn't too cold. I forgot to mention yesterday that we had a second showing on our house that went really well. The people need to meet with their bank to see if they can get approved for it. I pray that everything works out and we can get our house sold.

Hello people, it is the end of March. Snow, really??? Ok, honestly, it is quite beautiful. There was snow when we first got here, but it was not a fresh snowfall and it melted within the first two days we were here. I do enjoy looking at trees all covered in snow, I just don't want to go out and play in the stuff.

Tonight we invited our nieces to come over for a sleepover. We watched Megamind. We had not seen it before. It was pretty good. I was not feeling well today.
