Day 28 in South Dakota

Today I took the younger 3 children to Reptile Gardens. We went there when we visited in August of 2009. In August it is much warmer, all the flowers were in bloom and all the exhibits were open. Since it is early in the season and the weather is still a bit unpredictable that was not the case. It was not quite as enjoyable as it was the first time. The nice thing is that once you go one time you get a pass to come back as many times as you like with free admission. So we will be going back later in the season.
I have been using Ancestry.com to do some digging around with my family history. It is really neat to get on there and fill in the branches of your family tree. Last night we worked a bit on Kurt's family. He really does not have a lot of family left on his dad's side so it is more challenging, therefore exciting, when we find something. He did not know his grandmother's maiden name, and there is no one still living to ask, so we spent a few hours looking up information. I finally found her maiden name and parents names while looking through old newspaper articles. It was very interesting. Time consuming, but interesting.
