Today many of our friends from Fayetteville, NC were dealing with big storms and tornadoes. There was quite a bit of damage to the Fayetteville area when several tornadoes touched down. This afternoon and evening some of the ladies in Kurt's family and I went out shopping and to dinner for a ladies evening out. It was nice to get a chance to spend time with them. I still feel a little bit on the outside of everything because they have always lived near each other and have strong relationships. I know bonds will form as time goes by, but it is hard right now.
Then when I got home I found out that my step-mom and sister were in a car accident and were injured. I don't yet know the extent of their injuries as it was too late to call when I got home.
It has been a crazy day. Both good and bad.
I pray that our house in NC sells soon. I am getting anxious to get a home of our own with all of our own furnishings. Don't get me wrong, I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity for my family to be together in this house. But it feels like an extended vacation. I am ready to go home so to speak. Please Lord, allow our house to sell soon.
